For the price, this is a great reference guide. Much easier than flipping through my FOG/SOG.
I have multiple different field guides at my disposal and I have to say this is my go to every time!
The convince of having it on my phone is second to none!
Also being able to screen shot and send a quick reference to a member on my team is invaluable!
Some bad moments
The Essential Technical Rescue Field Operations Guide App (DRR Rescue) is awesome. I have been a long time fan of this field guide and to also have it available on my iPhone and iPad is really useful. The graphics are the best in the industry (in my opinion) and you can see why this book received the 2012 First place award for best how to book. Some of the features of the app are;
Easy and intuitive navigation menus
Really sweet interactive command checklists for each section
- command checklist has an elapsed timer
- command checklist prompts you to declare a strategy
Links to video tutorials on some pages ; there are not too many tutorials yet but it sounds like more are coming.
Overall I give this five stars, totally worth $9.99
Every member of our team is issued the field guide and most of us bought this app as a companion. Works great for us, we have yet to have any problems. The previous reviewer must have a hardware problem with his phone ... We love it!

Awesome resource and great companion to spiral bound guide. Absolute must for any technical rescue technician.
Huge amount of encompassing rescue information in one app. Great addition to the a spiral bound FOG. Has IC checklists for less frequent rescue operations that are great for our guys with less rescue experience that may initially be in command of the incident. Great App!
